JANET EILBER, XIN YING, AND CHARLOTTE LANDREAU FROM THE MARTHA GRAHAM DANCE COMPANY WHICH STREAMED MAY 26, 2021.

Day One - Friday:
​
8:30 AM – 12:00 PM Open Rehearsal
The full company (15 dancers) rehearses their program with an audience of students, seniors, towns people and visitors. The Graham Company’s artistic director, Janet Eilber, will explain the history of the performance pieces as they relate to Martha Graham’s innovative choreography and be available for audience Q and A. Dancers are expected to encourage members of the audience (particularly students) to join them on stage and possibly participate in dance movements.

Lunch 12:00 PM - 1:00 PM
​
1:00 PM - 3:00 PM Filming “From There to Here” stories for the Saint Helena Forum’s archives. Copies will be kept for reference in the high school and public libraries. Each performer will tell the story of their journey from where they were raised to becoming a professional dancer.
​
6:45PM - 7:45PM Wine Reception, Upper Floor Carriage House
Members of the company will perform a “Pop-Up” dance in the crowd during the wine hour.
​
8:00PM – 10:45PM Fundraising Dinner, Great Lawn
During dinner there will be brief remarks from the Forum Chairperson and a series of “Pop-Up” dances on the grass, performed by members of the company.

Day Two – Saturday:
​

2:00PM – 4:30PM Full company matinee performance with 30-minute intermission
​
6:30PM Wine Reception on High School Lawn
​
8PM – 10:30PM Full company evening performance
